The very first time I went to a concert at Red Rocks was back in 2010.
I will NEVER forget it.
It wasn’t because the lineup happened to be 3 of my favorite bands.
And not because my girlfriend (now my wife) looked gorgeous that night.
It wasn’t because it was July in Denver and the weather was perfect.
It was because I got that feeling…
If you love music… I mean REALLY love music, then you know that feeling.
It doesn’t matter what’s going on in your life… Everything just kind of melts away and you get lost in the magic.
If you’re a fan of either, then I’m sure you’ll agree with me when I say,
Art and Music can do some magical things.
And just a few years ago, I had an experience that can’t be described with words.
If you’ve ever been to a concert at the Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater just outside of the city of Denver, then you may know what I’m talking about.
Just look at it.
There is something spiritual that takes place when you see a performance here.
I’ve been back several times and it’s always the same.
And the great thing is, sometimes a song, or even a smell can bring me right back to that feeling.
It’s hard to describe…
But it’s deep…
All the way to your soul…
Have you ever felt goose bumps on your face?
That’s the best way I can describe it.
Your whole body starts vibrating and all of a sudden your face starts tingling.
Well, if you know what I’m talking about, then trust me when I say, at Red Rocks, that feeling is magnified by 100.
You feel completely connected to:
All of the best parts of life.
So, this morning, I checked my email and I got my weekly YouTube update.
It showed me all of the recent uploads from the people I’m subscribed to.
And there at the top of the list was a new video from Dirty Heads…
…shot at Red Rocks.
As soon as I clicked and the video started to play, it took me RIGHT BACK to that night.
Immediately, I got that feeling…
Enjoy the videos.
And even if you’re not a fan of the band, I’m hoping you’ll appreciate the shots of Red Rocks.
And below it, I put a couple of videos that were shot the night I was there.
